In last week's scripture, we witnessed examples of deep faith, but in today's verses we see examples of obvious unbelief. Jesus has returned to his hometown of Nazareth after a prolonged time away. The crowd thought they knew Jesus based on their past history, but when they were reunited with Him they realized they didn't know much about Him at all. Jesus received two reactions at His homecoming. Some were amazed. However, some scoffed and we'll see how their unbelief affected Jesus's ability to ministry among the people. We are challenged to answer several questions. "How well do YOU know Jesus?" "If Jesus was to walk into your home would He find faith in His power?" "Are you wiling to let Jesus work in your life?"
