As we read Chapter 15 of the Book of Acts,  we see Christ continuing to build His Church! But, difficulties arise when some church members began placing unnecessary requirements on non-believers. By making them "jump through hoops" that were man-made, they were hindering non-believers from coming to saving faith in the Lord Jesus.  These "extra works" contradicted the Gospel of "by grace alone" and denied the finished work of Jesus on the cross. 

How did the early Church leaders address this serious problem and what can we learn from how God led them to handle it?

Finally, this section of scripture demands that we ask ourselves, "Is there anything in our church - or in MY life - that is hindering another individual from coming to Christ?" and pray that God eliminates it.
