Have you ever been misunderstood? In todays Bible passages, we see the Apostle Paul's actions being misunderstood. Paul was on his way to Jerusalem to deliver a gift from the Gentiles in Macedonia and Achaia. This gift was to thank the Jewish believers for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It would also help that church financially. On his way to Jerusalem, Paul made stops in Tyre and Caesarea. In both of those cities, fellow believers warned him of the dangers of going to Jerusalem and urged him to change his plans. Paul, however, felt compelled by the leading of the Holy Spirit to continue his journey. How did Paul handle the emphatic cautions and requests to change plans? And what can we learn from his example?
