Nehemiah was determined to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, but more than the physical walls he saw that the relationship between the people of Israel and God was damaged and in need of repair. Have you ever thought about how your own internal walls – your relationship with God – might be in a state of disrepair? Do you desire to repair that relationship? Are you willing to do the work needed to see that through? This message from God’s Word gives us a model of what it takes to make our relationship with God as it should be.
