Order Your Easter Lilies

From March 16 through April 6 you can order one or more Easter lilies. These beautiful flowers will decorate our worship center during Easter week and can be taken home after the Easter service. If desired, you can purchase them in remembrance or to honor a oved on.

The annual gathering of the women of the Alliance South - this year title 'With Wings Like Eagles' - will be held at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort in Greenville, South Carolina the weekend of April 25th-27th. "The annual Baby Bottle campaign to support LifeCare Pregnancy Center will be held from Sunday, February 2nd through Sunday, March 2nd. Baby bottles will be placed in the foyer, and those who wish to participate are asked to take a bottle, put cash, bills or checks (made out to LifeCare Pregnancy Center) into the bottle and return it to the church. All monies collected will be donated to LifeCare Pregnancy Center in Carthage in support of this area's moms, dads and babies.

Worship & Media Team Christmas Gathering

Great friends, great food, and fun together! That's what the Worship & Media Team enjoyed at the Christmas-decorated home of John and Anne Purnell on December 17th. Bob and Traci Huber organized the program for the evening. Guests brought tasty dishes to share, then exchanged cups loaded with candy and gifts. They also filled a Gratitude Box with brief statements thanking team members for their contributions to a year of growing together.

Adult & Teen Challenge Christmas Banquet

Adult & Teen Challenge of the Sandhills (ATC) is a faith-centered, adult, long-term, residential, recovery program for individuals struggling with life-controlling addictions. ATC is strongly Christian based and currently has 113 clients enrolled at its campus on Farm Life School Road in Carthage. A recent survey of ATC program graduates found that 78% of the respondents are sober and substance abuse free after participating in the ATC program.
