Week 6 - 40 Days of Prayer (2/5-2/9)

by: Bob Huber

As The Alliance is engaged in the now. strategy, our prayer theme is now. pray. The word now can communicate our current reality—what we are now––and it can also communicate a sense of urgency. The final week will specifically remind us of the urgency of evangelism. Therefore, we call this week’s theme Evangelize now. derived from 2 Corinthians 6:2: “For he says, 'In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.' I tell you, now is the time of...

God created us to be His possession and for His glory. However, sin separated us from the holy God, and all of us fall short of His glory. But through God’s grace, we have been justified freely through the redemption that came through Jesus Christ.

Because of what Jesus did on the Cross, we are now reconciled with our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. As joint heirs with Christ, we share the “glory of Christ,” which God the Father gave to Jesus. Hence, we are now His!

Week 2 of 40 Days of Prayer (Days 8-14)

by: Bob Huber

01/08/2024

The prayer theme for the Christian and Missionary Alliance in 2024 is "Now. Pray." In this second week , we are called to urgent intercession. This theme is derived from Luke 18:1

"The Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up."

As believers in Christ, we are called to encourage and build each other in our faith. As part of that, interceding in prayer for one another's burdens and requests becomes inevitable. Most often, we
