Warren Wiersbe said, “True Bible Faith is confident obedience in God’s Word in spite of the circumstances or the consequences.” Obedience to what God has written in His Word is a choice that we as believers need to make.
Real true faith is more than words or rituals or going to church or having religion or believing there is a God. Real true faith backs up words with actions or it’s not real true faith. Real true faith grows as we make choice after choice after choice to trust God.
With our nation on the verge of economic collapse due to the political agenda of a cognitively compromised President and those in his administration who are pulling the strings, what are we as Christian’s people of faith to be doing? What does God desire us in faith to trust Him with through these very concerning times?
I believe we are to pray, to cry out to the Lord for divine intervention in these times. The Lord has told us and all those who follow Him what we need to do. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, we read, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Whether we want to admit it or not Christians are a part of America’s current problems. We can blame it on the left, the Democrats, the liberals, the school boards and the media, but we too are culpable. Over the past 50 years or so, we have lowered our values, and become apathetic and desensitized to sin.
Now with what has been taking place in our country we as Christians are slowly waking up from our comatose apathetic state and realizing what mess we’re in. What do we need to do? A massive overhaul of the House and the Senate in 2022 on its own will not change a thing. Impeaching the President won’t resolve our nation’s problems.
A few thousand years ago God provided a formula for turning things around because He realized how His people down through the ages will get their eyes off Him and become like the cultures and societies, they live in. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is God’s formula, not voting or voter id, not peaceful protests, not changes in the dominant political party running government, and not conservative media. It begins with you and me God’s people following His formula.
God wants us to come to Him in humility and brokenness, where the humble and the broken cry out to God in prayer, seeking His face, and turning from our wicked ways that helped our nation get to the place where it is today. When we do God promises to hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land. Until we as Christians in faith come to God in humility and brokenness expect things to get far worse than they are now.
Do you have Real True Faith to take God at His Word?

Well written and so true! Many observers comment that the United States does not appear in End Times narratives and wonder why that is. Are we already so inconsequential that we have no part? Or will the US cease to be relevant as we continue down the path to apostasy? Unless we, the Christians in the country, repent and call to God to forgive us for our neglect and apathy, He will punish us as He punished the Jews. Obey God! That is the lesson I see throughout the Old Testament. But we are (I am) too busy with our everyday lives to even listen, let alone obey.
