What does it mean to be a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven? The Sermon on the Mount articulates what the life of a Christ follower should look like: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak, and act?
In the Sermon on the Mount, we find some of the most familiar and profound passages in all of Scripture. Jesus’ words remind us about the importance of love, compassion and forgiveness, and challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Christ.
During this 9 week study by Jen Wilkin, we will navigate these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard - as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus and a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Study will be held on every other Monday (beginning 1/13) beginning at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Cost for book which includes video access $25. Click HERE to register.
