In Acts chapter 3, a crowd witnessed the healing of a lame beggar as Peter proclaimed, "...In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." The crowd was astonished, wondering how this happened. Peter explained, "It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him as you can all see."
Over 5000 men plus women and children came to belief in Jesus as their Savior that day. But, the religious leaders were disturbed - even though the truth of Peter's message was clear and the healing was obvious - and had Peter and John arrested and jailed.
Likewise, many people today are skeptical even though the truth is plain. Do you believe there is power in the name of JESUS? Or are you a skeptic? Either way, today's message is for you...
