As a Christian in the United States, what do I desire in my life? What do I pursue? Am I on a quest to pursue what the world desires? Many people live for "today" and for the "temporal" but not the "eternal". This was the chastisement Jesus gave to the Laodicean believers - that they were pursuing the "Laodicean Dream" and compromised their lives so much that they were no distinguished for non-believers.
Jesus diagnosed four areas of need that they must address immediately. Last week, we covered the first two needs - they had lost their passion for the things of the Lord and they had compromised their values. This week, we cover the remaining two needs.
