We continue our journey through the Book of Acts! Jewish leaders had arrested Peter and John for declaring that a man, crippled from birth, had been healed in the powerful name of Jesus. After holding the apostles overnight in prison, they released them because they didn't know how to punish them without causing a riot. They commanded the apostles  never again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus.

Did Peter and John cower in fear? NO! They and members of the early church prayed for BOLDNESS and POWER, calling on the name of Jesus to take the battle to the enemy and do God's will. Their abounding confidence in the power and sovereignty of God was not from themselves, but from the Holy Spirit. This message challenges us to release God from the box of our own limitations and our preconceived notions what we can do on our own and acknowledge that everything God can do for us is BIGGER than what we can do for God!
