Everyone has experienced going to bed with a burden only to wake up the next morning experiencing the same burden. The Apostle Paul had been placed in Roman barracks primarily to protect him from the Sanhedrin, the supreme council of the Jews at that time. The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, "Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome." The morning after God gave Paul this promise, a group of 40 zealous Jews took a vow to kill Paul. But God had different plans - for Paul to share the Gospel in Rome. Today, we hear how God miraculously intervened to fulfill his promise to Paul!
