When brokenness is overwhelming, how does one begin to pick up the pieces? The people of Jerusalem felt overwhelmed and immobilized by the daunting sight of 2 1/2 miles of stone wall surrounding the city broken, burned, in rubble. They would soon see that when God is at work, there is NO job He can't complete. Nehemiah, a man of prayer who received His direction from God, along with the Jewish people working in unity according to God's plan, began the God-sized task of rebuilding the wall. We are surrounded in our community by many whose lives are crumbling and hopeless because they don't have a heart relationship with Jesus. Do you share God's heart for these people? Will you ask God to raise you and others up as workers in sharing our faith and making disciples?
