He is Risen!

"He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.” (Luke 24:6-7)

Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. What a beautiful thing, is it not? Jesus died on the cross for our sins, not his; he was sinless! He took our sins so we could be with him in Heaven, as long as we believe in Him!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Death has no power! Evil has been defeated! The Lord our God has set us free! Death no longer has power over us; we are free from the clutches of evil.

"For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him." (Romans 6:9)

We can rejoice because Jesus rose from the dead, death has been defeated, and we can spend eternity with the Lord in Heaven!
